Dallas Central Appraisal District (DCAD) is in the process of certifying the 2026 appraisal roll and its system will be unavailable beginning Friday, July 17, 2026, until Friday, July 24, 2026.

    Beginning Monday, July 27, 2026, the appraisal staff will resume informal reviews and formal ARB Hearings for the accounts still under protest. At this time, all accounts under protest have been scheduled for an ARB Hearing. Once an account is scheduled for an ARB Hearing, a Hearing Notice will be mailed to the property owner at least 15 days in advance of the scheduled hearing date. The hearing date and time will also be updated on DCAD’s website at the account level. ARB Hearings will continue through September 2026.

    Beginning Monday, July 27, 2026, you can contact the Appraisal District to conduct an informal review of your property with an appraiser. If you are able to resolve your protest informally with an appraiser, then there will be no need for a formal ARB Hearing.

    If you have additional information you want to submit with your protest for consideration, then please e-mail your documentation to arbdocs@dcad.org as soon as possible and at least one business day prior to your scheduled ARB hearing date.
